In 1993 the year Ayrton was killed, all F1 cars were full monocoque --carbon fiber composite tubs; very similar to today.
The main difference between then and now was the driver had less upper body protection. Also there were no teethers holding the wheels (and suspension uprights) to the tub. Senna was killed because the front wheel assembly came into the cockpit and a rod on it went through his visor and into his head.
Teethers and/or higher sidpods might have saved him. But who knows.

That drs really seems to eliminate the whole "turbulence issue" when following a competitor. But of course, it does it by giving the following car a huge hp advantage.
Hamilton fucked up at the start. Not lke him at all. Button is Button, fast but Not blindingly so.
Yeah, The Stable is on the move! I gotta believe Massa is done there after this season. Alsonso is soo much faster everywhere in every situation.

Vettel seemed a bit upset the team wouldn't let out again. I think the FIA should increase the number of tires the teams can use. Like right now.
Don't know about the Shoe, but freakin Rosberg looked really good.
Oh and Alosono just missed third by what was it; .002 I think.
Those last few laps were a buzz man, thought Lewis would just snatch it. Good to see back to back races with Monaco coming next week.

For me saturday qualy was hard. I thought the worst when they covered the Perez crash site in tarps.
It's a bitter sweet sport for me. I fucking love it, but I've seen sooo many of my heros and idols killed over the years. Thankfully he was ok.
