Thailand vs Hawaii

I've never been to Hawaii but I've spent a month in Thailand last year(I was travelling all over to see as much as possible.) The natural sights are just spectacular, the beaches are (most of them) excellent and the real Thai food is just sooo good 
From the money I've spent on that one month, I don't think I could've spent more than a week on Hawaii. So as for the money : You can get a lot more for the same money in Thailand.
I only had one unfortunate accident. While I went for a swim some random guy stole one of my favourite shirt so as a piece of advice, always leave someone behind to keep an eye on your belongings.
Also if you are not a 100% sure it's a girl, be careful.

I've only been to Oahu in Hawaii but I wouldn't go back. There were way too many bums everywhere. Angry drunk Hawaiians try to car jack you, and it’s too crowded and takes forever to drive a short distance. Waikiki was definitely the best part though.

EDIT: Plus 90% of those ladies probably have a cock. I'd go to hawaii just on the basic principle of being able to have a few drinks without succumbing to mass paranoia on whether every girl walking up to you wants to ass rape you with her tool. Or whatever IMers in Thailand are into.
And most regular tourists vacationing in hawaii never stay long, so your fun never ends and always variates
I went to Maui last year and it was great. I was only there for a week though and stayed at a 5 star resort, so didn't really get to see the "local life" much. I think Hawaii is pretty awesome, but make sure you do your research and plan on living on the "right" island. We were told there are parts of islands that visitors are not allowed to visit.

ive been to hawaii (several islands) more times then i could recall - each island is unique. So given you go there, message me and ill tell you where to go. Never been to Thailand though.
Hawaii is safe vs Thailand (i love thai food). But taxes are a mother fucker, I though about moving. Plus the islanders can be dicks, I almost got into a fight my first night with an islander street punk who thought he owned the road. Then I settled down and enjoyed the rest of my trip; the place is one of a kind.
I have wanted to see Hawaii's unique scenes like the Green-sand beach, the observatories, the rainforest jungles and dive Molokini, but I keep hearing that if you stray from the tourist spots like Waikiki you can get fucked over real fast just for being white.
If I'm only going for the resorts then I can do better in Thailand.... For 1/3rd the price.
