Private Forums

I've been told that IM Gr is centered more toward advertisers, but have no experience with with them personally. The only paid forum I've ever been a member of was PPVP, which aside from a couple people over there was more focused setting up affiliate campaigns. I dropped about 6 months ago though, so I can't say for sure what they're all about now.

ssly don't you think pplz actually try?

but they never responds. biggies from wickedfire doesn't care anymore..
No offense, but I have no idea who the fuck you are, or what you do. I have a lot of these people on skype, and that's because I took the time to develop personal relationships with them.

The thing about adding people you don't know, and who don't hit you as remarkable in some way, is that they are going to want a bunch of your time to talk about their shit.

So back to you, I have no idea if you are in PPC, or SEO. I have no idea where you work or what you do. What country you're in.

Now granted, I don't memorize every fact about every poster, but to me, you're just another face in the crowd. Maybe you should be making posts I would remember if you want me to add you to my skype.

Almost all of the biggies on WF are great social marketers. If you want their attention, social market. If not, why the hell would we want you on skype anyways?

Just sayin

just to reiterate what guerilla said:

If you're good and prove it, we'll invite you. If some how your indian ass gets in asking how to make $5 per day you'll get the quick boot. Relationships should always be mutually beneficial. If you're low on the totem pole, you'll have to give a lot just to get back a little. You make $50 a day, well the guy you're trying to get advice from makes $3000 a day. Remember that.

/endrant.

I am not player, just a guy, but Grind responds to me, maybe because I have done business with him. Being that I bring little to the table besides my good looks, there is nothing I can offer him in exchange for his time except patronage. Relationships have to start with a give and take. Some of my best contacts are people I purchased services from, they see that I am not a douche or a parasite and they respond to me when I ask them something. I open a dialogue and I share what I have, usually that is just left over pizza. Bring something to the table, people like you better that way.

I'm 99% sure I'm going to join a paid forum today and just thought I'd ask which would be best suited for someone on the advertiser side of things.

Out of respect for this forum, its owner, and the mods I'm not going post the full names. I'm just interested in which other ones some of the people actually making money here are using:

I'm looking at

PPV PB
IM GR
STM

this dumbass wanting to join a paid forum... You can extract an provide just as much info on this forum (or competitor forums).

That's probably exactly why. Grindstone is here to make money first and friends second. If you're not about making him money, and he doesn't already know you, then you're in a tough spot. He's a serious guy when it comes to his social access.

@ Your pal

Look, 90% of marketing is not links or tactics or spreadsheets or secrets. It's basic social skills.

I just made a Pinterest thread in T&C. You sell re-pins. You should be in that thread ADDING value, establishing yourself as an expert so you can sell re-pins, but more importantly, when Grindstone takes an interest in Pinterest, he sees you're the local expert and he tries to hook up with you.

Until you're thinking of ways to add value to every conversation you're in, it is going to be very hard for you to stand out.

I'm Your_Pal and on wickedfire since 2010, isn't that enough for you guys? As at some point you were all the same. Some of the services I provide are advertised here. Same here I have lots of skype contacts but the problem is what I have learned from my past 4 year experience is pplz usually just use my services and expect more and more and in return when it comes to give back they just put me down.

I have couple case studies on it and I'm NOT lying.

The thing about adding people you don't know, and who don't hit you as remarkable in some way, is that they are going to want a bunch of your time to talk about their shit.

First if you specifically talking about Grindstone I don't think I have added him in the first place. It is pretty much visible that he don't advertise his skype details on this forum and I'm sure we did some business in da past when I didn't even joined this forum and now I don't either remember. Mind it I'm not a moron who have NO work and just browse wickefire nicknames and try to add them on skype or AIM all day ;)

So back to you, I have no idea if you are in PPC, or SEO. I have no idea where you work or what you do. What country you're in.

I'm in India, yeah I know it sucks in the first place but thats the truth. I have tried both SEO and PPC but one thing everyone has started at one point and I have a feeling that everyone got a helping hand.

Now granted, I don't memorize every fact about every poster, but to me, you're just another face in the crowd. Maybe you should be making posts I would remember if you want me
to add you to my skype.

I'm not a NATIVE English speaker, so it would be pretty tough for me to let you memorize my posts. Still I manage to express myself at an extent.

Social market? Explain..

On the bright side, your written English is better than 99% of native English speakers online. So you have that going for you.

When I get a PM/message/email from someone that sucks at English, I delete it right away and I know I'm not the only one.

Also, when people use that "baller" language or "text speak" in messages and/or emails.

"Yo I gots an idea were we B stackin dat cash yo hitmeup balla fo sho"

*DELETE*

So you have a strong advantage right there just in your ability to converse well.

Now all you have to do is build a rep and reach out to others doing what you are. Guerilla gave you some good pointers for that.

This message is NOT an invitation to PM me. I'm not here looking for business connections.

About Your_Pal:
This dude probably has huge bank accounts.. but whatever, he is definitely a big fish and his shit (accounts, etc.) actually makes people huge money. It is just that not everyone likes to brag and show up as a tough guy on forums. Being humble is a skill, but may not be a gay webmaster thing

Also, if you are rich now, you were a peasant at 1 point. Don't forget that.

You just need to stand out, and do something memorable. Rank for a sexy term and then tell people about it. Enter the dog snuggie contest and win, or get close to winning. Troll the shit out of people. Offer quality pposts and insights on SEO or something. I dunno, make people remember you and make people curious to talk with you.

I don't think being in India is a bad thing. However, a lot of Indians have that weird reputation because so many Indians are uber annoying and send like 500 IMs saying "hey, are you there,,,,?" over and over again.

The fuck do I know anyway, just babbling out loud.

good luck bros
