Yep! I'm excited to see what's going to happen tomorrow. I tried getting into the IPO offering but it looks like no allocation will be provided to me. From what I've read, eTrade gave the allocation based on "lottery".

On a somewhat relative note, I'm sitting on 13,000 shares of Zynga with an avg pps of $8.40. I'm hoping that with FB's IPO, and all the hype to get FB shares, people might start grabbing shares of Zynga, considering that 15% of FB's revenue comes from Zynga. It's currently at $8.34 aftermarket, and will probably be $8.50 pre-market, but for the last 2 days, shorters have been pushing the stock down every time it starts gaining. I would be decently happy if the stock would just push to $10, and sell it all for a $20k gain. Wouldn't be too shabby for getting into the stock last Friday.

Anyone here got any IPO shares on Facebook or Zynga shares?

I might just grab 1,000 shares of Facebook from the market tomorrow just for the fuck of it as long as I can get it for under $50 pps. I'm sure I can hold it until it hits it's high for the day, and then sell back for a quick gain. I wouldn't be surprised if it reaches $70-$80 tomorrow, but definitely drop before closing.

If anything it might be a fun pump and dump. buying it now and flipping it in a week or month due to all the hype. I dont keep tabs on fb tho, when is it going public?

I see the new "DotCom bubble." It just won't happen as fast. More power to them if they make it, but this is an unprecedented hype. If the best they can offer in the buildup to an IPO is highlighting status updates....I just don't see it. I don't like to be "that guy" but I'd like to think that there are better ways to monetize 900 million people in place of "I paid $2 to highlight this post of Mr. Whiskers"

Linkden tripled first day on the market. Think facebook is gonna become a google or apple type of stock down the road. Hope I can get my hands on some tomorrow at a solid price

$38 per share doesn't concern me... However:

$104 Billion total, largest in tech history.

$25 expectation of worth per user.

Yet incomes per user have been WAY down the last two quarters... Like under 1/10th what they used to get!

All I've got to say is I'm not buying, boys. Sure there could be a little pop if your timing is lucky... But I can't help making the connection between this stock IPO and someone buying a house in California in 2007.

PPS will likely be under $20 next week sometime. No shorts available yet; FML.

Nothing looks even remotely to the dotcom bubble. That's clueless people with nothing other to do than blogging you are listening to.

FU etrade. Placed a conditional offer for 2,000 shares for the IPO and they only gave me 50. Should of went with TD Ameritrade instead since I could of at least gotten a few hundred shares like my friend.

You guys are the ones who create hype for a living, so you know how this works. Now you're going to turn around, and buy into the hype?

Not a sound investment approach...
