Apple's live event today for iPad mini, new Macs

Let me check the forum I'm on; yep correct - Internet Marketing.

How can you possibly spend time writing all of that shit while being a marketer? All you did explain just how powerful a brand is. Do you have any idea how powerful brands are in society; especially in the United States? There are bags that sell for thousands of dollars just because they have LV on them because we live in culture that embraces brands. If you don't use a well regarded brand product, you are shit. That is what society forces on its people.

Apple does it perfectly. People don't care about the fucking specs or shit, they care about it looking pretty and having the Apple logo. Once again, Apple is brilliant in this and it should be completely respected since we are on a marketing forum.

If you want to sit around and bitch at how oh so useless Apple is, go to the yahoo discussion boards.

As a marketer you are embarrassing.

tl dr

i use apple's imac 27 but im not a flaming apple homo lover boy, I just say it like it is, and dont bother with that "as a internet marketer"

this is WF

I dont need to sell apple shit to none of you

BUT IF YOU ACT NOW ...... :nopenope:

It's bad enough that this idiot is close minded as fuck but on top of that his punctuation is complete shit.

Good luck with your cold calling business, I'm sure you're successful.

I love how you call Apple a half ass company when you run your business half assed. Have a landing page problem? What do you do? You create a thread. Wondering what ads you should display? You create a thread. Wondering the best way to cold call? You create a thread.

You sound like a cunt. I see you went through my recent posts (no way you memorized the posts/threads I've made, but if you did, what a sad sight that is)...that's acting like a cunt.

So if you sound like a cunt and act like a cunt, chances are...

I know right, over fuckin Apple. So fucking sad.

Sad, but also funny, to see people get emotional over tools. Imagine someone getting really salty over a fucking DeWalt hammer drill.

LOL

But I love those Apple hippies with their "hey maaaaaan dont hate on Apple they're genius at marketing maaaaaaaaaan and this is a marketing forum maaaaaaaaaaaaaaan"

That's exactly why Apple makes unholy amounts of money. The only thing I respect about them is the fact a lot of dumb cunts happily hand them over the money, and that's always a joyful sight to see - a cunt parting with his money.

Three of your threads are on the front page. Keep on leeching away at the forum buddy. Nothing useful* to provide but taking any information you can. Classy.

Oh one more thing, I remembered this Mgrun guy now, I see it in my subscription box, I actually subbed to one of his threads he made in 09 about his iphone app, I actually enjoyed the read and the story...

Seems kinda sad to see the guy behind it being this insecure petty little kid who feels such urges to defend his precious computer logo he stoops down to going through my threads and looking for shit to pick on.

Apple boys are class, unlike us, manner-less Windows bastards with all those cables and clutter over our miserable desks with ugly plastic keyboards and wired (ugh, wires!) mouses.

Precious computer logo? I don't even fucking own a macbook or imac. I've posted my office setup more than enough times where its pretty obvious I use a PC.

I'm sorry I didn't go through your posts and analyzed what kind of computer/s you use. I will do my homework next time.

No, instead you just assumed. I figured that if someone called me out on using a mac that they saw a picture of me with a mac. I was waited for that picture because just maybe I slipped up, purchased one and sold it back while completely forgetting. Guess I didn't.

Jesus H Christ the fuck is this then, a fucking flame war over Apple, with Apple user shitting on Apple and PC guy defending it.

Wicked Fire.

Dude, I haven't even defended Apple's products in this thread. The only thing I have defended is their marketing because this is a marketing forum. Fuck, I apologize if I'm actually trying to keep this forum relevant.

As a web developer/internet marketer, OSX is a perfect development environment because I can still use Photoshop at the same time. Also, their hardware is of the highest quality on the market, which is reassuring when my livelihood depends on the hardware I use everyday.

I appreciate their marketing, I'm not buying into anything. I like to use good tools when I work.

The hardware is exactly the same as every other major computer manufacturer. They use Foxconn and Intel like everyone else. The only difference is the chassis. Also, as you might not know, their malfunction rate is around 17% compared to Asus' 15%.

It sounds unproductive to use an OS that is lacking in software and customizability for development but can still run photoshop.

It also sounds dangerous to rely on a system that, if it breaks, you will have to ship the entire system off to be repaired and be unable to work for days when there exists systems that you can run up to the nearest electronic store to buy a replacement part in under an hour. That doesn't sound too reassuring to me.

HERP DERP THE ALUMINUM UNIBODY DISPLACES HEAT BETTER

Just kidding, I don't know if it does or not. I like the build of Apples though, even though their entire OS is just a rip of Linux.

no, they make extremely nice aluminum hardware housings. And I have multiple machines so that if my shit breaks, I just take it in and switch to a backup.

Also, most of us use laptops, which don't have many replaceable parts beyond hard drives and ram.

Honestly I don't give a shit, I use what I use because I like it.
