its impossible to only have 1 favorite movie
picking 1 movie reveals a narrow minded view on life in general.
in the event you HAD to pick just 1 movie you first would have to drill down with a ton of prequalifiers.
"what would; be your favorite Gangsta movie directed by the top directors between 1970 and 1980 made in the .. yada..yada..

please tell me other wise as I love hearing opposing views

Stanley Kubrick's 'Bary Lyndon' - Another great period piece
Nice pick! No one ever talks about this film but IMO, it's one of Kubrick's best. I love how he starts a lot of the scenes with all the actors completely still, as though you're looking at a painting from this time period.
Not my favorite, but a great western.
