Son of a Monster

Have you considered that a child that age may still be redeemable? Maybe losing his dad turns him into an advocate for education and an end to the violence. The point is you don't know. All we really know is that he is a minor, why should he be executed? What are his crimes? Why should douche bag sites profit off of exposing him to attempts on his life?

And no, I'm sure it's not the noblest cause in the world. But beats bitching about stuff while doing nothing.
 


I have been living in Sinaloa for a long time and I don't recall the last time family members were targeted on purpose.

This isn't to say it doesn't happen because it does. It is no different from Americans soldiers targeting civilians in Afghanistan.

Killing people for a living makes people snap. That's life.

E-mailing blogdelnarco about what they post isn't treating the cause. You'd be better off campaigning for legalization of drugs and writing to your local corrupt government. Just a thought.

It's like trying to save a crackhead's baby.

Parental responsibility cuts both ways - you can ensure a child has an opportunity or you can condemn them to death by your actions.

This guy's kid was dead the minute he decided to be a monster and torture people to death for money and drugs... you chasing webmasters around the Internet trying to delete his picture everytime it emerges will accomplish exactly zero if the cartels really wanted to find him.
 
So ethics in journalism isn't worth fighting for? If this was a child porn site I think people would look at it differently. This child isn't facing pedophiles he's facing cold blooded killers.

If it was a picture of an American child? There are murderers in the US too, shall the US publish pictures of their minor children in the Times?

At the end of the day it's not about this child, he may be already lost. It's about that next child's pictures and the one after that. Can I teach these webmasters to report more responsibly? Maybe I am.

Good job man, don't let them criticize you and try to stop you. They only are doing that because they are too fucking lazy themselves to take any action. Keep it up.
 
Okay so lets get this straight

1.) Cartels kill reporters,journalists in Mexico to send a message to not be fucked with. I mean the line is way crossed.

2.) The photo is out already, you can stop those 3 sites but someone saved it and will share it somewhere down the line. Taking those sites on might work but saving this kid could be too late. You could set a new standard to have kids blurred from photos but that is only going to work with people who follow set standards.

3.) Maybe now the kills will go into witsec or something? Who the fuck knows.

However I know this. The shit that goes on in Mexico in real life (outside of killing of innocents) is pretty fucking dope. It makes the tv shows of the US and the hispanic novellas look like bullshit. Those Cartel guys go hard. Finding so much violence and brutality mixed with arrogance and materialistic narcissism with cold calculated mind sets is just intriguing in it's own way. Seriously you can't find this shit in any other country/region where they are so brazen/ public about what they do. Makes you realize that they could literally run a country if they banded together.

what just was posted here makes me itch to suggest why us govt and nato does not invade this shithole and establish law and order for the sake of humanity. at least us tax payers won't have to spend that much, logistically speaking in comparison to afghanistan for example. obama please save people of mexico from these tortures.

I get it, I do. But legalization is a long way off, we all know that. I could spend my whole life campaigning for that because it makes sense on so many levels but it may not be the highest and best use of my time. The US isn't budging on this. And really, up until 6 years ago the drug violence wasn't spilling over onto the civilian population.

What happened? The US passed the buck. Refusing to deal with their own population's consumption/addiction inhouse they leaned on an incoming Mexican president to clean up their mess. If there wasn't a demand there would be no market. Mexicans aren't going to stop moving this shit, it's big money. There is no welfare here, there is no truly free education, there is a shitty economy and a corrupt government that steals from the country with both hands. Drug trafficking becomes then a viable way to obtain food/shelter/cash.

It's been this way for decades. The cartels used to operate on the fringe of society, on the back roads, minding their business. But military intervention has forced them out to fighting in the streets now. You start fucking with their cash flow they get hungry, there aren't any real jobs around so hey they "diversify" into kidnapping, extortion and theft. Sure you can kill them but right behind them there is a 14 year old kid that can't pay the monthly fee to go to junior high, can't get a job at a gas station (no education) so he's signing up for cartel service. Nobody is just going to lay down and die. (look at Haiti and their famines)

To top it off, with less money available for the making the cartels start getting antsy, they start elbowing into each other's territory, now you have cartel vs cartel and cartels vs soldiers. So the military intervention plan is a total fail for Mexico. And the US? Whistling dixie, laundering cartel money and giving/selling us guns. On the US side this is a win, they get to blame Mexico for their drug problems and they get to profit off the misery of a third world country.

/rant I got some kids to look out for.

The situation in Mexico has reached a level of moral bankruptcy beyond comprehension. I understand war, and if a soldier gets captured by the other side then he will likely pay with his life. I can't grieve for them, they are adults and knew what they were getting themselves into. I don't condone the torture/mutilation... what happened to straightforward execution? Shot to the head and you're done.

What bothers me are the "collateral" civilian deaths. A few months ago the Zetas uploaded a video where they decapitate several family members of a rival cartel leader... including his elderly mother. Hard to wrap your head around. This happens on all sides, I won't pretend like there is any cartel that is innocent in this.

Anyways, a few days ago a popular blog that covers the drug war in mexico published photos of an infamous assassin (sicario.) Basically "outting" him. Now that his face is in the public eye he is a target, he will most likely be killed by his rivals. Tough shit, he's a bad guy, bloodthirsty as hell. What was shitty is that they published photos of him with his small son, maybe 6 years old.

If rival cartel members get a hold of that little boy they would likely give him a horrible, painful death; tape it and upload it for the world to see. It's not his fault his dad is a monster.

So I've been petitioning the site to cover the boy's face, took a lot of hell raising across the web but got it done. (yay) Unfortunately the pics were syndicated/stolen from the original blog and published on several other sites before the first site edited them. So, feeling kind of bummed about it but not giving up... so far the boy's face has been covered on 3 more sites.

I don't know why I'm posting this here... maybe looking for advice on how to bury this shit. Feel like it's a race against time, maybe I already lost. Anyways here is the link to the original post, some of the pics are really graphic so keep that in mind: Cherry

Hey I really admire the fact that you're trying to do something about a problem you have seen. Recently I shut-off the news because it was getting to me and it's way outside my circle of influence. You however have found something that is within your circle of influence and are actually doing something about it. I admire that.
