An intelligent person feels the same with people of average intelligence



I must admit I haven't actually been tested and the argument in the OP was borrowed from somewhere else. But I do fint it very interesting how extremely agitated people become when it comes to intelligence. It's like being told someone is more intelligent than you is an existensialist threath.

No, I think it's just a matter of actions speak louder than words. Don't start a thread bragging about how intelligent you are, with no proof to back it up. Of course you're going to get shot down for that.

Now take someone like cardine on the other hand. He's obviously extremely intelligent, because look at the technology he's developing. That's way beyond the grasp of the vast majority of us. However, do you ever see him bragging? Of course not. Instead, you see him saying how hard he's hauling ass to reach his long-term vision.

IQ is the topic of this thread, not accomplishment. His high IQ is proof of his... high IQ. Accomplishment is not proof of high IQ. You are free to start an accomplishment thread elsewhere. I will not use my high IQ as proof of accomplishment in your thread.
 
I know young car sales guys without a degree that will run circles around most of you so called smart people.

The only thing book smart people are good for is research.
