They had LEAKED OUT that the new xBox 720 (Which subconsciously IMPLIES that it will be TWICE as good as the 360.) would be backwards compatible to ALL xBox 360 games.
This PLANTED THE SEED of "Relief" that current game investments could still be used. This then allowed the consumer's minds to relax and NURTURE that seed into a nice and healthy little plant.
