So I just got stopped and these bastards at 1 am for having one headlight out, and after pulling me over they decided to search me based on previous history. :rasta:

For the record, I haven't been all that good with the boys in blue in the past, and have let them do stupid shit for no reason, resulting in stupid ass ridiculous charges.

This time though, I saw the fuckers coming from like half a mile away, and luckily was able to scarf my wonderful green snack before we stopped.

They searched and searched and searched and tried to get me to admit like 50,000 times, but I said I don't, haven't, and never will smoke, and did not eat anything.

20 minutes and 4 squad cars later (can hear the tax dollars being pissed down the drain) they handed me my warning for my headlight, and tried one last time to get me to admit, and I just smiled and said nope :)

Just had to vent, and wf happened to be open. This has been a public service announcement from Bullseye

Everyone always gets busted for having a headlight out or something stupid like that. I had a headlight out since January that I finally replaced - somehow never got pulled over.

At the same time, I wasn't carrying weed in my car, so I didn't really care if I got pulled over or not...

LOL when a cop asks "do you mind if I search your car" you really don't have a choice because either way they'll get it done. And BullsEye, you really should have known better than to head out in the middle of the night with weed, especially if you have a record AND a busted headlight. That's just asking for trouble.

Yeah you do.. They aren't going to bother a Judge to get a warrant, especially at night. They might call in a k9 unit to run around your vehicle. I said no and they called the k9 once, either way worst case scenario you say no, they manage to get a warrant and you get searched. When you say yes you give them the right to rip apart your car, fuck that.

True. I guess this should serve as a wakeup call to stay indoors and get more shit done with AM. Also I had previous shit on record, so they get to search me no matter what.

Not true in the least. I refuse all warrantless searches based on I don't want them rifling through my shit and not putting it back in place. I have nothing to hide but I value my rights and don't want the risk of some dick cop without a warrant planting something in my car.

They want to look? They can get a warrant. No cop has bothered yet.
 
If your white, probably not as much tow worry about. If your black, your probably fucked. Probable cause my ass. I'm white but I understand where there coming from.
 
Cops are dicks. Did they give you a pupil chart test? The state cops in jersey do this... it's the stupidest thing ever... I was so high and they couldn't get anything on me.

I felt like Dave Chapelle on Chapelle's Show when he gets stopped by the cops.. "I AM High BITCH!"

Long ago in 1997, I lived in Florida. In Ocala county I got a speeding ticket and driving without a license ticket. I showed up for court and they said "come back next week we're busy". Seriously.

Now, some 12 years later, that outstanding warrant sends me directly to jail any time a cop runs my name. I've called the courthouse about 100 times asking if I could just send them money but they won't budge. I HAVE to go all the way there, spend 1 night in jail, then pay my fines.

WHAT THE FUCK FLORIDA!!!

Naturally, because of said incident, I've never had a driver's license and probably never will. :D

I live 2000 miles away at least.

Very untrue. If you have nothing to hide, but want them to respect your privacy then they have no right to search your vehicle. You could get some dick power hungry cop who says "im going call a K9 here". Call them up them. If they take to long, waste your time, and keep you from where you need to be for an extended period of time, you can appeal the ticket and in most cases win.

EDIT: But if the K9 finds some weed, your just shit outta luck. This advice was just for ppl who have nothing to hide. In most cases, if there's still evidence (and you haven't eaten it) your better off being straight forward.
 
My friend got pulled over last night right in front of my house as he was taking me home for running a stop sign. We had both been drinking (myself more than he). The cop was very friendly, asked some curious questions about my neighborhood and then wished us a goodnight.

He is alright in my book. Oh, we had a bunch of bud, too.
 
You need to do reverse psychology shit. Example:

I'd say if you DO have weed... act all nice and say "no problem, you can go ahead and look all you want" or something like that. They will mostly just do a real quick search and that will be it if you act nice and all that bullshit. (hopefully your hiding it good still though)

If you're completely clean and have NO weed or anything that could get you in trouble... that's when you can be a complete asshole and have some fun. Act like a smart ass, laugh at them, be as disrespectful as possible and they will get all pissed off and try to do anything they can to get you busted...and as long as your 100% clean and don't threaten the guy or anything... there's nothing they can do.

I've had that happen. My friend, the driver, gave them permission to search. The cop was a shitty searcher. My friend just got a speeding ticket.

When a cop pulls you over, it's yes sir, no sir. I don't give a shit what you got on ya. Yes sir, no sir. Sorry for the inconvenience sir.

Pissing off cops is never a good idea. They CAN do whatever they want, and it's your word against them and their buddies. You lose.
