..so that got me thinking, with all those branding monies msft is throwing around, how come we don't have offers like "Bing Payday", "Easy Bing Profits" etc? I think they'd convert like crazy. That presell of "MS launched Bing and now they need people with basic typing skills to post links 24/7.." It's about time we see that program already!

There isn't because the average casual surfer has no idea what the fuck Bing is, so why try and promote it as such?

For bizopps, if your surfer has the slightest bit of technical knowledge or internet know-how, you aren't going to convert them. Everybody and their 80 year old grandma with alzheimers knows what google is. Most peple don't know what Bing is so there you go.

don't buy into the hype. google doesn't even need to react to microsoft's campaign because they already have top of mind recognition. bing has to be "try hard" just to stay in the game.

atleast they are trying. Google needs some competition asap, and maybe theyll think twice before those slaps.... assholes

A savvy advertiser would build a bing/yahoo money tree offer so that people would drop it into review/multi offer pages. Just like the 1-2 punch of acai & colon cleanse ... back the GMT offer up with a BMT and some people will buy both. Easy cash that was otherwise just left on the table.

Bing sucks as a brand, there are so many more brandable money making sites.

Bing sucks, yeah :) But "other money making sites" - care to list? At least here you can claim that Bing throws money to "post links" lol

But yes, I agree, it's not the best BRAND out there. It could go well as an upsell or something that's what I thought cause it's annoying me recently

Bing is converting better than the others

Click Through Rate (CTR) up 15%
Conversions up 6%
Conversion rate up 18%
Cost per Acquisition (CPA) down 3%
