Fed Up with Firefox...What Should I Switch To?

That's a feature of Chrome I don't like. From their privacy policy:

Even if you don't have the option to share usage statistics enabled, what you type in the address bar is sent to Google - almost like keylogging. In Chrome you can disable this feature, though it's enabled by default.

Only if you hit "yes" when asked to shared information with Google during the install.

I dont mean with keyword suggestions, I only mean when you're typing in your history of past URL's. If I just type a 'w' wickedfire.com instantly pops up and i can hit enter. in firefox it suggests it, but doesn't give it focus so you still have to move the mouse and click it.

Yes. Iron can do that, pull suggestions from bookmarks and history.

Just need to say thanks to whoever recommended Iron.

Downloaded it after reading this thread and so far it looks pretty good. Fast/streamlined and don't have to worry about the privacy concerns (like with chrome).

I'm going to use Iron as default now and firefox when I need to do seo research.

I couldn't leave FF even when it does me wrong (and every once in a while after an upgrade, it does) I heart my add ons.

I couldn't agree more! I use FF while I'm in development mode, and I use Chrome when I'm in surfing mode. I'm going to check out Iron now.

This is all fine and good.....but I'm curious as to Sumit's browser of choice. That would be a deal changer for me

anything running Webkit (i.e. Safari, Chrome, or nightly builds). Best browsing platform ever.

I wouldn't use chrome if google paid me to.

I want to check out Iron, but I keep forgetting about it.

Since Chrome does not supports Firefox, really cannot use it. Also will be trying out Iron today for sure.

hmm, surprised there's not more support for Opera. Not a fan of Chrome at all.

I just run Opera and FF at the same time, Opera for bullk of browsing, FF for its extensions, but Opera has a tonne of extension too.
