I'm really starting to hate Wickedfire. You can't start one thread without someone bitching and crying about something. This place is turning into a lame mix of Digtial Point and Digital Gangster. For fuck sake.

I didn't like the movie. Fuck off already. Bitching about someone not liking a movie is a lot worse than someone bitching about not liking a movie. GOD. DAMN.

If you guys really feel the need to fight with people who don't like movies, I can link you to one of about a hundred movie forums out there... you could spend the next year bitching at people for hating particular movies.

My 8 yr old took his 3D glasses off during the dragon scene. It was quite scary and violent. Goddamnit, PG is not supposed to be scary and violent.

edit: those of us with kids will probably appreciate this movie more though. Why? Well when your stuck with half the crap we have to see...all the really bad cartoons out there, something a little different like this one was a nice change.

edit2: Just read the rest of the thread. You people need to chill. This is a movie thread. Not nearly as serious as the obama is the antichrist/Palin4prezident threads.

How could you have watched it in 3D? You only pirate Disney movies these days. Right? And to each their own... you thought it had a decent plot, I thought it was a jumbled mess that would only appeal to little bitches.
 
Hmmm... not seen it yet but was looking forward too it. Generally love Tim Burton's stuff esp with Depp (although Willy Wonka was a disappointment).

One thing I noticed from the trailers is that it seems quite anglo-centric, wouldn't surprise me if mainstream America didn't get it... but how could anyone not like Stephen Fry as the cheshire cat?

Gee, I wonder why? It's almost like DP and BHW made sweet love and spawned a half retarded gangster baby with daddy issues.

Regarding the movie, I was excited about it. I generally like Depp/Burton, but from what I've heard here and from friends I think I'll wait for the DVD to be disappointed.
