after reading that story about the homeless man who saved a woman's life and was left to die on the street from stab wounds reminded me about all the super rude people i have met from new york. is it just me or are a lot of people from nyc short tempered, selfish, and generally stuck up?

Big City, loads of stressed people rushing about with calls to make and coffees to buy? That's what London feels like anyway.

Aiming to travel to as many states as possible next year when my degrees done so I'll let you know :p

Stick to the east and west coasts with the exception of a few places in between is my advice.

personally I think new yorkers are super friendly

But I come from a town full of raging hicks who hate life hehe

Loved New York every time I've been there. Everyone was super friendly and went out of their way to help me. Has to be said.

I'm a big fan of new york and people from there myself. They're no non-sense. They don't have time to fuck around but if you are legit they'll treat you the same. I don't feel they're stuck up at all but I also think they don't want people wasting their time. It's pretty much like this, if you're a retard they'll tell you so. Nothing wrong with that if you ask me. All the lame niceties in the world is a waste of time if you ask me. I suppose if you're not used to people that really speak their mind it would come of wrong. But after you realize they're just telling you what everyone else in other places wants to say, and doesn't, you learn to appreciate it.

of course you know I'm not from NYC. Cali born and raised. Just lived there a while and really respect and appreciate the people.

better than in oregon where four cars will sit at an intersection all trying to wave each other through for 5 mins. It gets downright competitive over who is in the least hurry. Lines are also pretty much pointless as the person who's in the back will always get waved to the front by the rest of the line as they feel sorry for them for being in the back, which creates a new person in the back of the line thus creating a vicious cycle that is only ended by the person at the counter helping whoever happens to be in front of them at the moment.

At least in new york no one really makes eye contact. The first time you drive through oregon you'll notice that on the freeways everytime you pass someone or get passed they will always turn to look at you...been here my whole life it still creeps me out.

That's was in Jamaica, one of the worst neighborhood in NYC.

and in the video i can't see if there's a "pool of blood" as the news described. If i see a homeless man laying down on the sleep not moving at all (which is not that abnormal in NYC). I wouldn't flip him and check if he is alive
