I can't believe I'm ordering this without reviews of how others SERPS have been affected, but here goes. I've placed an order for a 5 HOTH package and sent the details to your PayPal email address. Please confirm.
I just recieved my first report today, most of it looks fine although there were a couple of blank web 2.0 pages.
Another 'slight' issue i'd raise is that some of the web 2.0 properties created for me have been shared with someone else. eg: Theres a post/article on there for my niche, but theres also a post from another customer from his niche as well, i was led to believe that we 'owned' these properties as mentioned in the OP, but thats obviously not the case as log ins and passwords are not supplied.
It doesnt bother me that much, although i can now see what this other guys niche is, i can see his keywords, and of course he can also see mine. I dont really want my niche to be 'wide open' to other IM'ers who also purchase this service.
Apart from that, the 1st report looks ok. The spun article is not of the best quality, doesnt make sense at times in regards to my niche, but i suppose this is for the search engines and not real people so that doesnt matter too much.
I'll await my other 4 Hoths and then post back in a while if/when i see some results.

The layer 2 web2.0 properties may include more than one article, but this is actually to your benefit. 1-article web2.0 linkwheels are one of the most blatant linkbuilding footprints possible.
At your request we can do a new set of web 2.0 properties with unique login & password, but we would have to charge a premium as this would lengthen turn around time substantially.
Our goal is to keep the article readable. It may not be particularly informative about your niche, but as long as it doesn't trigger a "gibberish" filter in the search engines, our job has been done and you have gotten solid contextual backlinks.
You can always pay a copywriter to do in depth research on your topic and crank out really high quality content for your target audience, but that's not why you buy the HOTH.
This really shouldn't be a concern.
Anyone who is trolling for niches could easily hop on any major social bookmarking site and find mountains upon mountains of niches that other people are building back links to. At the end of the day your competitors, whether direct or indirect, can view you whole link profile with yahoo site explorer, and there's not a thing you can do about it.
Just the nature of the beast.
Thanks for clearing some of that up, I just rechecked and you are right, i do have 10 working 2.0 properties even with the duds so no problems there either.

Anyway got the email now you used the right email address. Just a slight problem that the main keyword I wanted has not been used in most of the pages created for my HOTH.
Let me clarify this publicly-
ALL of the links that point to a customer's money site(s) will use their specified keywords.
(as with this order)
SOMETIMES, especially with long-tail phrases, the links that point to the blogspot blog, wordpress blog & squidoo lense will have modified keywords (i.e. instead of "whale" we might use "whales" or instead of "Street Fighter II" we might use "Street Fighter").
The REASON we do this is because we've found that these top level properties sometimes OUTRANK the Money Site for the targeted keywords. This obviously makes it HARDER for your site to rank above them in the SERPs.
So we keep the links pointing to the site semantically relevant, while mitigating the risk of outranking money site and giving you the best bang for your buck.
This is the way we have always done The HOTH.
If you want to push your luck by pointing a ton of exact key phrases at your top level sites (squidoo, blogspot, wordpress), let me know when you're placing your order.
@Andy, since you've specifically requested it, we will use your exact keywords for all links for your other 4 hoths.

I must say this is depressing. Since the weekend is coming up and I'm on a "waiting list," I'll be lucky to even get my work started by Monday. Then on top of that it's going to be another 4-7 business days? I'm really excited to see my report because I'm pretty sure the quality of this work is going to be fairly high, but I wish I had ordered sooner so I could have gotten my report before the big crunch.
Got it, checked a few things. This isn't really a full review yet since all the work isn't done, but I figured it might be of use to some people since this seems to be a pretty popular service...
The 3 top level sites look good. I can't login to the squiddo/wordpress with the supplied account though. I'll email you about this later, maybe I'm doing something wrong.
The 2.0 sites are there, 9 total, not 10 as stated in the OP. Can you confirm this Alex?
I found 8 bookmarks that were deleted and a couple had one or two broken links. The report gave 39 bookmarks, so I still got the amount promised (actually 1 extra).
Didn't check the profile links yet, but there are 122 of them. I imagine a few of them are dead like with the bookmarks.
Looks like a solid package so far.
