Lamest affiliate network promotion I've seen

Got this is the mail today, probably from Shawn Collins selling my Affiliate Summit contact info. A network called LinkValu is offering a chance to win FREE GAS for your car, through October 31st. They also brag that their top affiliates are paid up to $45,000 a month.

Jason Calacanis, should anyone even care?

Here's my own personal attack post (although I don't agree with some of the things said about Shoemoney on other threads here.) Jason Calacanis -- why the hell does anyone care about what he says? His only claim to fame is having sold Weblogs Inc for $25 million to AOL. Wikipedia lists one...

    Worst banner ad ever

Was just browsing Sitepoint forums (which I visit about once every 9 months, great place to meet people who have no idea of what they are doing.) There was a thread with someone complaining about a banner ad from CPX interactive. If you aren't familiar with CPX interactive, they basically just...

    Most misleading banner ads

Just saw this on Digg: I've seen the hydroderm ads, I've seen the fake diet loss pills on TV (with the fine print saying users lost 3 pounds in 6 weeks with diet & exercise), but this tops them all in silliness.

Every so often I stop by BMEZINE to check out their tattoo pics (now BMEINK.) Here are some of the most recent pictures I found of people showing off their new tattoos:

Good news for Ron Paul supporters

I make extensive use of Google Trends for both all my keyword research needs -- PPC, domain buying, and so on. I made a post about this on my blog a week back, but damn, take a look for yourself: Google Trends: ron paul, hillary clinton, mitt romney, rudy giuliani A search hardly represents a...

Anyone else getting spammed by Options Media?

To date I have received at least 2 voicemail messages (I only check them once a month) and 4 email messages from Amy Fleming at Options Media. Apparently they were one of the co-sponsors of the Copeac party in Miami, so some how this means she can spam me with the same message for over two...

Fake HDTVs for sale... and then it gets funny

"The front sides of the objects had a tinted piece of plastic that resembled a television screen but were used oven doors, Lydon said. Police also found two boxes that purportedly contained laptop computers but instead contained 12-inch floor tiles, Lydon said." cbs5.com - Fake Wide-Screen TV...
