    Who are you people?

Wow... WF is still around. It's been a few years. I saw I only had 3,999 posts and felt like making that a nice even number. I recognize like two names on the active list. I guess everyone got rich and moved to Thailand.

So has anyone used Windows 8 and decided to stick with it?

I just spent the last week testing out Windows 8 and I really hoped I would like it, but I just don't. The whole "metro" thing is nice in theory, but it makes multitasking and productivity a pain in the ass. I guess I'm just too old to mess with Linux on a desktop again (seriously, after 17...

I know a lot of you use Linode... because I refer you there when we don't have stock. It looks like there was an exploit in their back-end that allowed someone to gain access to *all* of their servers. The main target was a bitcoin pool, but who knows how many other servers were accessed...

Need some stupid cheap hosting? $4.99 for a year...

I just added some new shared hosting plans to zensix.com and the lowest priced one is just $4.99/year. It's just something I'm testing out, so I don't know how many will be available. It's been a while since I did anything like this...

Test this server admin panel for me.

I need a few people to test a demo version of BoxCtrl 3.0 for me, before I release it to my clients who use the older versions. I just want to make sure there are no huge typos or errors that I might have missed. Feel free to try and break stuff. http://173.208.221.200:2010 user: admin pass...

If you don't have a SSD, get one.

I've been holding out for a while, thinking a SSD wouldn't make that big of a difference... but holy shit... I'm living in the future now. I built a small nettop-ish PC for it, using an AMD e-350, and with the SSD it blows away my old Intel dual core setup. Things. Load. So. Fast. Get one.

I don't want to share this, because I want to buy about ten more tomorrow... but what the hell. HP just killed off the Touchpad yesterday and they are offloading them right now for $99. After a coupon code, you can get it for $89.43, shipped. I have five on the way right now. HP Touchpad 16gb...
