    Buying an Aged Domain - Keeping it's age?

    Do I risk losing the domain age when purchasing it? If so, are there any steps I can take to ensure I keep the domain age? I ask because i'm looking to purchase a domain bought in 1997. It wouldn't be near it's value if I lost this domain age. Thanks.
