Hi Everyone,

I have stumbled uppon 125k fresh travel leads.

I'm not a travel affiliates/industry guy. So for those of you in travel, how would you profit from this? (real fresh leads with date of capture, ip, email, phone, address, etc, but no right to resell)

wow, 1 minute and already a reply.

What do you suggest?

I mean, I can think of a few ways, and can find lots by looking online, but I'm asking to get some starting guidance and go from there :) Where is the money in the travel biz? I heard it is not flights. Hotels are supposed to be good.

But where would you start and how?

I'd have to know more about the list to give you the best advice. I'd consider mailing a free vacation offer, but a believable one.

These are typically timeshares and offer you a free weekend somewhere to give you a sales pitch.

I've gotten some amazing private deals from these companies at upwards of $40 CPA.

Really you have the list, so you can mail everything from free trips to travel insurance.

Without knowing the source and why or how the lead subscribed I cant get too specific unfortunately.

errr, sorry about the flight remark, I didn't notice you are the owner for a flight affilaite program :)

Lol, PeerFly isn't a flight affiliate program... just a cpa network.

As Rob said, with that type of list you can e-mail them anything from travel deals, to travel insurance, hotels, flight deals, vacation spots, etc.

Oh also, don't forget that just because it's a travel list, that your offer has to be "Travel". Think outside the box like an acai free trial offer.

Make your own creative for the mailing like " Want to lose those extra few pounds for your upcoming trip?"

send them emails w/ airfare.com, hotels.com etc offers. load the emails into aweber, upload a suppression list, create your html offer and click submit. pick like 4-5 offers and send them out successively every 4 days or so. once you've sent those offers, refresh the list and then start over again.

I pushed the travelocity affiliate program at CJ, which I liked better than the others because they paid at the time of booking rather than after the stay is completed like many travel-related affiliate programs do.

That's how it used to be a couple years ago, at least. I don't know if that is still how they pay.

If you don't care about the surfer having to complete the stay in order for it to be commissionable, then ian.com - Overview is good too

PM me. I have a ton of travel experience.

Use callcenter, usually in this case you would have to pay the center per agent flat fee.

if your list is any good, chance are you can make some decent money off it.

The only thing you got be careful with is that the center might steal the list, so make sure put together a good service agreement and seed the list.

If possible, remember to test on small numbers of your list to start with. If you have 125k emails then maybe start testing with 5-10 different offers to 1000 people each. Then pick the best one and use for the rest of your list.
