The eurpoean rent portals are full of them, driven by some british mafia guys, when i
remember right.
You also not see any details of the inner house except 3 stylish shots showing from inside to outside. Thats a typcial marker the listing owner did not had access to the object.

Airbnb is full of it, but those idiots use eastern european celebrities as avatars, so it's easy to spot a scammer with Google image search.
check all (profile) pictures with tineye.com or images.google.com

- don't book anything without ratings
- don't book anything without calling the owner (if the profile says Melanie and a guy with an eastern european accent answers you know what's up)
- check all (profile) pictures with tineye.com or images.google.com.
- don't make any payments outside of airbnb. If the payment is made through airbnb and it's a scam, they'll refund you.
- if it sounds too good to be true it usually is
