OK This is my FIRST PPC campaign. Just started yesterday (To be precise 12 hrs ago).
I was promoting NB's MyFunCards offer (father's day ecards) on some low competition kws. My CTR is not bad (around 3-4% for each ads). At that time it's min bid was $0.05. (I set max cpc to $0.07) give me around 500% ROI. Sounds a lot? No It's just $30.

Now I got slapped. It's $0.15 to $0.40 min bids (and $0.40 on my top performing kw). Hell some kw I'm the only one who advertise and google still slapped me. They said I should optimize my ads or LP. OK What should I do now?

My LP : FREE Ecards, Fun Cards, Funny ecards, Birthday ecards and Free Ecards For All Occasions!

I searched about it and they said I have to make the LP more relevant (How?). Add more page (It's currently has 3 pages incl privacy policy). Move to a better domain (this domain just registered yesterday). (I have 1 domain registered a year ago with PR4, 2000s backlinks but its name is not related to the offer I'm promoting. buy anyway I'll test it.)

Really frustrated. don't tell me to open a new adwords account every day. Or the ROI is too much? I should accept the lower ROI?

Try to add some articles about occasions - ie. fathers day etc. - maybe for now just add ezinearticles, but for seo you might want to get original articles that would pass copyscape.
 
Thanks acemenace. Google said my top keyword with 4% CTR has Poor quality score. Other keywords have the OK qs but still need 20 cents min bids.

I'm adding some content, Have you tried LPGen. Is that help with your QS?

Try to increase your QS by cleaning up your code. A friend of mine had similar problems while promoting the same offer as I did, the only thing we could think of is that he was using another CMS than I did.

Put CSS in an external file and put all styles into that CSS (to avoid style='blablabla' polution).

It's min bid dropped from $0.40 to $0.10. I've just changed the domain name alone!!! (Let see how this domain affect my CTR). Keyword is active but ad still isn't showing.

All I can do is wait for it to start showing? Already set to accelerated delivery.

What I have to do to get better QS, so far...
1. Add some articles
2. Clean up my code

I realized that my LP is so suck that it can't even compete with my competitor. Will be working on creating a better landing page.
 
Add more content, make sure your not running more then 14 keywords per adgroup, make sure your page loads quickly, make sure you have clean code......The list goes on when dealing with QS but once you get the hang of it you'll realize its not as hard as it sounds.

Everyone Gets Google slapped especially if your just starting out.
 
Changing your domain was a good move and that is why your min bids lowered right off the bat but make sure you implement some of the other suggestions people have offered here right away or your new domain will suffer the same fate as your old one. Good luck.

Whoops I really love this domain so Google don't kill it plzz.

I will finish optimizing my LP in 2 or 3 days since my homeworks are killing me now. (Hope that's not too long for google)
 
how many terms do you have in your ad group? if 198 are inactive, it sounds to me like your ad group itself could be better targeted.
 
New domain name and account will help you...then be sure you are split testing 2 ads and landing pages (make sure you don't check for google optimizing for the best ad since you need accurate data at this point to see which performs best, then remove the losing ad after running and test another to try to beat it.)

Tighten up your adgroups so you've got one key word phrase in all 3 forms for each ad group and be sure that keyword is in headline (and 2nd line if possible) of the 2 ads you test for that group since google rewards for relevancy.
 
Put your NeverBlue affiliate link in it's own page (ex. get-fathers-day-cards.php) instead of putting the affiliate link on your LP. Google HATES to see affiliate links on your landing page.
 
Thats not a "slap" fyi, thats google's QS working as it should
So the slap should be $5 or $10? got it.

Adwords raised my min bid price to 20 cents now. Father's day is over but I must finish the new LP asap if I want to do business with them.

I heard from somewhere that you have to phone google to make them recalculate your LP's QS. but someone said just create a new campaign using that URL for LP and google bots will come and calculate your new QS. Anyone tried this?

yesterday got $79.20 commission. Spent 35.14(Yahoo!) + $27.75(Google). Still profit but very poor ROI. (I was stupid enough to create an ad group bidding at $0.23 in yahoo! losing $10 alone on that ad group.)
