Basically, I want my navigation bar to look/function the same as the one on MTV.com. Mine is already set up and I will provide you with the 1px border to place on each side of the text. All you'll have to do is code it properly and make it so that it looks the same as MTV.com's when it's rolled over. Extremely simple.

Two stipulations:
  1. You must have AIM.
  2. You must have PayPal.

If you want it to be exactly like the MTV one, why not just copy the code yourself? Pull the HTML, the style sheet and the Javascript and reverse engineer it.

That's the only way you're going to learn how it's actually done which would be especially handy if you want to make changes. For starters, you don't need a 1px border, there aren't any images in the MTV version. It's all CSS.
