So, I've been wanting to hop onto the AM and PPC scene for the past 4 months, unfortunately, the only money I've got is the money in my student loan balance. I don't think it would be the smartest choice to use that to invest in clicks.

So, my Father, the lovely man he is, has decided to, in about a month, to basically invest in AM for me. He'll be throwing 2000 dollars my way, and we'll partner from there if its profitable.

Besides countless hours of research I have ahead of me, niches (I don't thing ring tones and weight loss pills with fly more than a day with just 2000 dollars), products to push, LPs, domains, so on and so forth, what else should I prepare myself with?

My friend said I should be buying into some of those subscription pay to read forums. Smart choice?

Or should I take the $2000 dollars and do something else (that has a chance to profit... hookers are not an option)?

I'm up to listen to any suggestions, here or via MSN. Thanks.

Honestly you could start with alot less. If you don't have $ you should look into very cheap methods into making $ on the net. Such as buying a domain & hosting and building links and SEOing out your pages.

That's exactly what I'm doing now, and its gone relatively okay, although it is a slow, slow process (and one I'm not making much money from). I'm looking for more risk that could essentially have more payoff.

Thanks for the suggestion

Ok, on a more seriosu note.

Look at what you are doing right now.
Analyze it.
Take note of what works and what does not.

Think about ways to scale those offers / sites.
Think about ways to automate.

Hyperion here's my suggestions.

1. Don't take your fathers money as you don't want that hanging over you head.
2. Start doing this stuff the free way. Which is use free hosts like blogger, aol journals, bloglines, hubpages, squiddoo, etc etc all these are free and will cost you exactlly nothing but your time to write some nice content. Then start building links. Drop links anywhere you can like every social bookmarking site, comment in related blogs, stumbleupon, yahoo answers.

If you do this a guarantee you that you'll make some money. Selecting your niche intelligently has a lot to do with how much.

There's plenty of ways to make money in this game with exactlly 0 costs involved and that's the real skill. If you can do that then you can move on to the next level with some cash in your pocket. :) Good Luck!

Thanks for the suggestions. I appreciate it.

As for my Father's money, I don't look back on things all that often, and money certainly isn't a problem for them. They lose hundreds a month using it at the casino, so it's kind of just a bet put on me. Actually, I'd think of it as him sponsoring me to play a sport or something, and he put the offer on the table. I guess I sound spoiled from it, but whatever.

I've got no problems with SEO work and all that yummy stuff, I'd just like to move onto something that could, perhaps, be much more profitable over a shorter amount of time. I'm actually looking into getting out of writing thousands of words a day, and into something more statistical (analyzing what my money is doing and if its working for me, and if its not, why).

I'll just keep my eyes on this gay webmaster forum I hear has a lot of info. Other than that, I'm looking at what I'm going to take a shot at, have someone make me an LP and test it with small amounts everyday (credit cards are fun).
