This problem can be solved rather easily:

Here's a sobering thought: some WF members have never even seen one of these...

I remember this horrible invention standing in my Grandma's house. When it rang, windows trembled and I could easily hear this sound from any part of the house and even from the outside. My Grandma was not deaf, she just was too attached to that particular phone set.

When I look at modern devices - slim and elegant, with all these vibro-calls and possibility to adjust volume to your liking, I recall that loud monstrocity and smile. Technology surely did a huge jump over several decades.

That is simply not true. Those phones provide superior quality over even today's most advanced phones. Same goes with cameras. Even the cheapest 35mm camera provides drastically better resolution over the most expensive digital cameras on the market.

That is simply not true. A Hasselblad MF digital will be far better a 35mm film camera, even the best film cameras. 35mm Velvia has only about 15mp equivalent resolution and the 5DS has 50mp sensor. And sharp images without a tripod actually become a problem with ultra hi-res sensors. The bigger advantage comes from the dynamic range of digital over film.
