Why does the article use real estate as an example? Just look at this graph on a home listing I was looking at the other day...

Because real estate in Canada is retarded expensive. It did not blow up like down south and it hasn't been anywhere near a downtrend in forever.

Two different times. Yes life might have been much more simple at that time.

But they did not have all these cool gadgets that we have now. The Internet, porn, ipads and android phones. So many things to list. Just imagine what were missing out a 100 years from now, or maybe a 1000. Technology moves at an exponential speed.

I've got my eye on New West, it's cleaning up much like South Burnaby did 15 years ago. All the riftraft just gets pushed out further.. was in Burnaby, then New West, Surrey and it's going to get pushed to wherever rent is cheapest.

im out in burnaby atm, like 5 mins from new west..when i buy will probably be somewhere across the bridge houses on this side are far too expensive
