Has anybody seen the new 24/7 Pens Caps on HBO?

It's just like the other ones they've done with the boxers, but this is following both teams leading up to the winter classic, which will be played on New Years day in Pitt.

It's a great watch for any hockey fan, sports fan, or fan of good film in general. They really go deep to show what its like to be a pro athlete. It's plays on Wednesdays at 10pm. Strongly recommend to watch!

I downloaded both episodes through torrents to far...they are pretty good...

It would have been better if one of the teams they were following was the Leafs, though - that would be quite the gong show I'm sure...

I think the boxing was a little more interesting... Or perhaps I'm just slightly more interested in boxing... but I do think the ideas behind the show are great... I just don't know if I'll stick with it for the entire season...

I just watched the first one today, thought it was great. Not sure how much hype it's going to generate for the winter classic though, which is obviously it's purpose.

My favorite part has been the insight you get from the players, coaches and refs all being wired during the game, especially during the fights. And the Capitals coach when he gets pissed off = hilarious.

I missed this to begin with so I'll just watch it on demand when I have some time...here's that little speech you're referring to though, lol
