Content is a vital part of any website. The quality of content does not only affect conversion rates and SEO but also the overall 'feel' of the website. No matter what others say, content in my books still remains KING.

It is very important for any website owner to keep strict checks on the kind of content being used for his/her website since good content would do wonders to your website, but bad content would just make your website plummet in sales as well as search engine rankings. When I talk about the quality of content, I'm referring to the various factors affecting the usability of content. I'm not advertising my signature, I don't need to, it's called word of mouth. I'm not trying to trash your thread, you trashed it by not taking the time to correctly format a post that is meant to attract clients for your services.

My job is to write the content, not format it too. Content is the part I'm good at.
I appreciate that you're not trying to trash my thread. It was just that I noticed that the font wasn't going too well with the background after I posted it, and for some reason, you can't edit a post 10 minutes after posting it.
That's the thing :)

EDIT: Just checked out other posts of yours, it's funny how you post on every content writer's thread trying to bash 'em. You should stay out of other people's business!

Actually you're wrong. If you don't format any of your articles you need to mention that in your thread. It's assumed when you purchase writings from someone that they will properly format it before giving it to you so if you don't than you need to state that or risk the negative feedback.

Sorry I can't change your name but you're welcome to reregister and take another crack at this. For the next attempt i'd suggest you ditch the copy and paste directly from one forum to another because you'll run into problems like the black on dark gray. Copy and paste into notepad then over, then FORMAT it so people can read it and understand it clearly. Your sales thread is a representation of your business and how you work. Right now your business looks like a fat lazy unreadable fuckin slob.

James, they have a point about you interjecting in quite a few content writing threads lately.

If you're a content writer yourself, you should really stay off other people's threads and let someone who could give a neutral opinion about it trash his thread. THAT'S WHAT IS UNPROFESSIONAL ON YOUR PART!
If you just go around speaking ill about the unprofessional writers, why don't you actually go and give a second opinion about any good writer? I don't see you posting anything positive on a fellow content writer's thread.
The only mistake I made was I formatted my post wrong. I don't think it was that huge an issue that you could swing down on my thread and start uttering crap. I'd appreciate if you stayed off my threads henceforth.
(I said all this only because this thread is going to be deleted. I don't generally go around talking shit about my competition to get some more business)

I was going to stay away from the thread, but I'm not going to let you sit here and talk all of this without putting in my two cents. Also, if someone is going to offer writing services, they need to be able to know how to write and edit, this is part of the job when it comes to writing, if someone can't grasp that concept, they don't need to be trying to get others to pay them for what they can't do right. Last but not least, formatting is part of writing, no matter what you want to say.

You're a self-promoting bitch/bastard, no matter how you spin it. Your "helpful review" also said that you were the best writer alive... which is really, really, REALLY not true. The only mistake this girl made was fuck up their formatting... it's not a huge deal - let it go.
 
This is all just silly. Writers HAVE to format what they write otherwise people would be paying for big, shitty blocks of text. I've never come across that in over 6 years as a writer. Except on forums that is.

As far as self-promotion, who really cares? It's a competitive market and if you know you can do something better than someone else, you might as well let that be known.

Maybe we should have a "Write Off" thread where every one of us "writers" whips out a 200 word article on a given subject. Wouldn't it save time if there was a sticky up top with this exact thing? The poor ESL writers would probably be totally fucked though.
