$300 Youtube Vid = $30M Hollywood Deal in Less Than a Week.

Ummm what $300? That took way more than $300 in wages for 3d. Kinda weird that 3d animation skills are that highly valued, doesn't sound right

I agree it prolly cost more. I think the guy called in some favors, and I think did a lot of work himself- hes credited as a 3d artist at the end. Either way, good for that guy. Thats some major balls for studios to throw that kinda money at him based on that though.

^ yep. The guy is already kind of big in the industry and called in a ton of favors.

p.s. - Just another retarded "space ship blows shit up" movie. Great.

Cool stuff!

As other have said.... in the independent entertainment world everyone is willing to work for free for the credit and experience, so the $300. was most likely spent on food and digital film. Plus the film maker did most of the work himself.

very cool, but kind of upsetting at the same time

Almost two april fools ago IGN released a prank trailer for a supposed new legend of zelda movie. It's the coolest damn trailer in the world and a real movie done exactly like the trailer would destroy every box office record in the world.

Cream your pants over this if you haven't seen it already:

100% honest here, I'm fucking depressed that was a prank, what an AWESOME fucking movie to make.

I wore out at least 3 controllers on NES Castlevania, Zelda, and Mario. Any Zelda movie like that trailer would just fucking rock. You'd have 100M 30-somethings filling theatres for weeks.
