The nightlife isn't that bad. Go to downtown Orlando. Amusement parks is where it's at though :banana_sml::banana_sml: go to Universal:costumed-smiley-087

Universal CityWalk is where it's at for mesmerizing and clean nightlife:

Coolest looking building ever.

lived there for 25 years..... (glad i moved out)

not too much to do besides the theme parks

Indoor Skydiving My SkyVentureOrlando Website

or hit the Fun Spot smashed and tear up some go-carts.. think they have like 5 or 6 diff tracks.. Fun Spot: Home

Nightlife - agree that City Walk may be your best bet or hit up some of the local bars/clubs on Church St. downtown Orlando *BBQ Bar is a cool as spot*

Why dont you try tripadvisor.com - user rated best whatever spots.
I think it really comes down to what you're into. Also, do you want to do the typical tourist stuff, or do what the locals do? Will you have a rental car? Do you want to try and make it out to the beach, or are you going to pretty much stay in Orlando?

Jason: is there any special food that you can only find in Orlando?

not really anything spectacular.... too new of a city to really have any tradition.

Beefy King has some good food unique to the city (1967 that's as old as it gets.. pretty sad) Orlandoweekly.com: Restaurant Review:

and you can always find some AMAZING spanish food at some local (shady) parts of town.

or if you like BBQ.. you could always hit up a Bubbalou?s Bodacious BBQ - Your award-winning BBQ restaurant and No.1 Orlando BBQ catering company! they have a dancing pig for christ sake.. how can you say no to that?!

Mostly fast food and shit you see anywhere else... so happy to be gone!

i did..but since i am not interest in amusement park or high profile restaurant so it didn't help. I also check yelp and seem like there aren't any food that i can't find in NYC

I am not into tourist stuff. That's why i post here and hope some local can suggest me stuff to do.

I won't have a car so i am going to be stuck in Orlando.

Bubbaloos is great. I haven't been there in awhile. Tijuana Flats is pretty good too, that's an Orlando original - Tijuana Flats

If you decide to go the beach route, you have a few options (distance of depends on where you're staying).

On the east coast:

Daytona - Not my personal favorite. A little overcrowded for my taste.

New Smyrna Beach - Laid back beach town. Some good places to eat, drink right on the water. If you decide to go here, let me know. I can give you some good places, I go there all the time.

Cocoa - Lots of fun. Check out Coconuts On The Beach - brevard restaurant, cocoa beach restaurant, waterfront restaurant, bar brevard county, bar cocoa beach (although I'm not sure how many people will be there during the week).

On the west coast heading towards Tampa, you have St Pete beach, Clearwater etc. Personally I like the water / sand on the gulf better than the Atlantic.

For another $10, you can have a toothless hooker, just drive down OBT :)

Re: not having a car, I think there is a place that rents old cars. Something like rent a wreck or something. You can get a car for something like $25/day.

So if you can sacrifice 2 and a half blowjobs, then you'll have wheels.

Without a car, there is really not much to do down here.

Of course, you could always go to a gun range.

When I lived in NY, that was the first thing I did when visiting FL.

+1 for lattitudes... I'll be there wed. night as usual.

Fuck Bubbalous though... they've fallen off. 4Rivers is a new joint near Winter Park that is AMAZING!

As far as food you can't really get anywhere else, eh not really. If you're into sushi, Amura is downtown, Shari in Thornton Park, and Asian/Sushi: Kobi in Dr. Phillips or Altamonte.

Orlando resident myself. If you're into blue man group or cirque du soleil type stuff, DEF go see one of those, awesome shows.

Amusement parks have never really been my thing but Islands of Adventure is probably the best one.

If you're into the nightlife scene hit up downtown.
