Fresh Impressions on Brandmarks (from my 5-year-old)

from /r/videos, pretty cool to see what logos a 5 year old knows.

Had my 6 year old daughter do it w/ the sound off and there descriptions were pretty close on a lot of them.

will do a video with my 3 year old, he knows a lot of shit. i bet more than this girl. At 2 years age, he could identify Mcd, docomo logo, KFC etc.

I will do a video with my 2 year old. He is a genius, I bet he knows a lot more than the guy above me.

I'm going to do it with the kid I have still in utero. I bet it knows more then the kids of the above 2 kids.

Gonna do it with the sperm I have in my balls. I bet it knows more than the kid in utero above me.

Seriously though, I thought the video was interesting. I held my interest through it's entirety.

brands embedded into the collective conscious? the new "old wisdom" is instinctively knowing what a #4 at McDonalds is.

Played this video for my girlfriend's 7 year-old. In order to reduce the children's exposure to media, we cut the cable off over a year ago.

She correctly identified:

Pepsi
Starbucks
Disney
Apple
Chili's
Gerber
Target
McDonalds

my favorite answer was when she saw the the logo for Google Chrome:
"computer? sigh, I think it's the internet"
