got 100 to go before the cap. have a fan page set up already but i was wondering something..

i see a few ppl that have like 5013 or some other random number close to 5k. i get about 50 adds a day, if i let them all accumulate and add them all in one go u think the cap will only activate after i add all the ones in the pending list?

or shall i just allow it and not try to be clever? don't want to lose this page.
 


seems i will lose 3 years of wall posts.. all it xfers is the people and turns them into fans.

:/ might just keep them seperate and msg all the ppl that add me to fan the page instead. My profile page has a PR3, not that thats any use but still.

edit: Scratch that..

Converting a profile into a page retains all of one’s friends as fans, but all other information gets lost in the process if a user doesn’t first copy and save all of their personal information onto their computer.

This is relevant to my interests, because I've found it much easier to get people to friend a niche FB profile than subscribe to a page that is virtually the same. I was worried about what would happen at 5k but now it looks like I have my answer.
