Here's a article I wrote on a topic I'm pretty passionate about : Government regulations.

I'd appreciate any feedback/comments on the article. I'm not much of a writer and have tried to bring in a few people to clean up my 6th grade grammar, but the points are there : The government is making alot of great things illegal.

Cool article. However, now I feel like Peter:

Great points and opened my eyes to two new technologies I did not know about, LFTRs and CNTs. Also read the article about Mercury, which again, was very interesting. I could read more but I don't want to waste a ton of time for now. Articles are very informative. Maybe putting some charts/evidence in the posts directly would break up the content a bit more and make it a bit more attractive to read.

Why are you using a font from 1983 that's both white and purple at the same time?

I was hoping Thorium would be on the list.

This is ironic

B, you are by far one of my favorite Conservatives on this forum. You might be the only one I really like. You get it.

*blushes*

I threw adsense on the website the other day to get a little bit of monetization. On top of that I knew this article had the ability to be viral, and I wanted to see what kind of CPM rate I could get from such a thing.

Diesel is shit without modern filters.

Most European countries have put heavy regulations or pricing on this type of fuel for that reason.

I wouldn't use anything government does to validate facts.

Most European countries also create regulation around unproven anthropogenic climate change.

Show me a rational government and I will show you a unicorn.

Urghs... of course you turn this around.

Diesel exhaust has much more small particles in it (I can't be arsed to look up the translation for "Feinstaub" right now). These have been linked to pulmonary diseases.

This made some governments regulate it more heavily.

Not the other way around - "The gubmin regulated it, so it is bad.." - Seriously, I know we disagree, but this is getting ridiculous.

You're right, however the total PPM is identical or less per mile/KM driven as compared to a gasoline engine. The US government regulates by exhaust PPM per gallon , not per mile or KM driven. So , with diesel you have a 50%+ increase in MPG, which decreases the particulate emission per mile by a large margin.

It's like clockwork. These circle jerks of anarchists are just coming up in every thread, 99% of them involve guerilla.
U mad. haha

Well sure, you could have just made the point about the science. You didn't need to add authority by bringing the government into it.

No, what you said is, this is a problem, and that's why government acted on it.

Which is obviously fallacious because there are plenty of problems government doesn't act upon, and many more that they create SEE THE OP FOR CRISSAKES.

Corregation doesn't equal crustation.

BTW did you even read the link you posted?

Ford Fiesta ECOnetic review | Auto Express

They said this car sucks dick too and is overpriced.

Enjoy driving around on a car that takes 2 minutes to reach 60 and can barely fit 2 people.

And it compares to a prius how?

Ah.. Here is where the misunderstanding came about.

I only quoted gubmints because the linked article was very heavy on the "the government takes away our toys" angle.

Check this out, the diesel fumes in our privately owned citylink tunnels are at "extremely toxic" levels.

"A risk assessment by CityLink contractor TransLink warns that workers could develop cancer over 15 years."

"The documents show workers were breathing in "extreme" levels of diesel particles and that there was a high likelihood they could contract cancer."

I'm sure this is the governments fault somehow right?

Facts of nature aren't the government's fault.

Humans can act rationally on information. If they can't you can't claim government can, because government is made up of humans. You don't need government to keep people safe from diesel any more than you need government to keep you from shooting yourself in the face.

If you believe otherwise, please try to shoot yourself in the face and see what government does about it.

Report back with pics when you're done.
