ABC Debate tonight WTF Moderators

I'm a big RP fan, but that was NOT a good debate for him no matter how it's spun. Hopefully he does better tomorrow.

Nah he did ok. The game is rigged. It was a Mitt Romney party all night. He called Gingrich a faggot though, that was cool. He should have gone after dead baby Santorum more.
Anyone else getting worried about Romney's lead?
As we've seen in 100% of all the other contenders this cycle, the media loves them for a bit, they poll on top, and then some ugliness comes out to kill them off pretty solidly. Just Paul and Romney left, but Romney's pulling way ahead and if something doesn't happen soon (read: illegitimate love children in Iran) to smack him down hard then it's going to be impossible for Dr. Paul to catch him.

maybe he feels like if he can solidify himself as the legit 2nd option, then he will go after romney
I don't know. But he has gone out of his way not to attack Romney, there has got to be a reason.
Ron Paul gave Santorum and Gingrich a beat down. I thought it was funny post debate show when one of the analysts remarked how Ron Paul has been a "one man wrecking crew" destroying Rick Perry and Gingrich in Iowa and now Santorum in NH.
What boggles my mind is why he doesn't go after Mitt.
I think the Paul staff thinks that Mitt might actually be the easiest candidate to beat when everyone else is knocked out -and he might even be right about that. So they're trying to beat everyone else down to boil things down to a two man race at which point they can unload a ton of "serial flip flopper" ads against Mitt and consolidate the anti Romney and evangelical vote. I think that plan has some merit, but there's real risk now that Pau didn't win Iowa. If Romney Wins Iowa, NH, SC and Florida which it looks like he will, even if it comes down to a two man race and Paul unleashes the guns on him I fear it may be too late at that point to turn it around.
But I still think he has a real shot. I think he had a solid first half of the debate. But IMO he blew his answer on the question about his vision for America. It was unsubstantial, theoretical and weak -telling people to learn about the business cycle isn't a good debate strategy even if it's the truth. And he should have attached Mitt on that question as well which would have given him more air time.

Blowback is the reason he's not going after romney. The PAC sponsored ads would eat RP alive right now.

Didn't bother watching after the Iowa results. Romney, for whatever reason, has been chosen by the GOP as the guy from the jump. They (the GOP) managed to get him passed Paul in Iowa and almost fucked it up by letting Santorum get such a close 2nd. I mean really, just by what, 8 votes?!? That shit is fishy.
