Yes, yes, those of us still in HS still have to take this evil test just to even apply for a college.

I was just wondering if any of you super affiliate camels could give me any tips for the test? I know there are a lot of pretty intelligent people on here, so any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Damien

Well, I have, I took the SATs a few months ago and I did above average with little studying. But, the thing is, there is a lot to study for, I prefer making educating guesses haha.

I never studied... I got a 30 on my ACT... I never took it again...

All you need is reasoning skills, and you can pass... the most math I have had is algebra 2, barely, and I got a higher score in Trigonometry + Geometry than in Algebra etc...

its all reasoning.

Get some previous test papers (last 10 years if poss) and practise them to death. You'll also find the same sort of questions come up every year or every third year etc.

I've always been really good at standardized tests (usually get in 99 percentile), and I don't think studying is the most important. The first standardized test I ever took I completely bombed because I was stressed out. Don't stress out during the test, just relax. Look up some breathing exercises online and spend some time practicing those.

No thank you to all of that. glad I managed to dodge both the SATs and ACTs. Phew. Can't do math to save my life.
