@Ask_WellsFargo @wellsfargo If I am not put in touch with someone and get this issue resolved by 2:30pm I will tweet hourly about my issue.

Wells Fargo took an extra mortgage + escrow payment from me and refuse to give it back for 15 days. They also refuse to pay interest on holding the money they took from my account without authorization. I tried to resolve this matter over the phone but they are useless. They gave me a fax number to fax them more info and the fax line doesn't even work.

It's sort of sad that you need to use twitter to get help from a company.
 


Back in 1997 Wachovia did something similar to me with a car payment. I was in the Navy at the time and had my car payments set up to be automatically drafted from my NFCU account into Wachovia so I wouldn't have to worry about it while I was out to sea.

I come back from a 3 month deployment to find that I was somehow 60 days late on a payment but the most recent payment had been made.

Uh..wtf.

NFCU paperwork confirmed the payment was drafted but it took Wachovia over a month to find their error.

I had to go through the embarrassment of reporting to my commanding officer to explain that it wasn't my fault and even worse, nearly had my truck repossessed.

I have a mortgage through Wells Fargo as well. Every time I've had to call them it's been a clusterfuck. Good luck. :(
 
They keep responding to me saying to DM them with more information. I can't DM them for some reason but gave them my phone number. It's been since last night and still no call. The reps refuse to give me their employee id #'s when I call and they give me bad fax info to fax them. Real solid company....
 
Fucking lame. Is there any way to go up the chain of command?

wells fargo couldn't keep my personal acct and biz acct separate - it was a fucking cluster whenever i deposited shit with them. fuck it. i just closed them both.
 
Call them and ask to speak to the CEO.

With alot of huge companies, they have a small team that work to resolve issues directed at the bosses, and if this group exists, they will sort that shit out. Might be worth a try...

I'm pretty sure that humanity as we know it is over. I cannot believe you had to resort to Twitter to talk with your mortgage company. Sad as hell...
 
I have always banked at Sells Fargo, and never had a problem with them when something was wrong with my account. I gotta assume that you called them, right?
