does anyone know how these kinda sites work by the way? asked shoemoney at aff sum, fucker wouldn't tell me. not that it's much help though

Seems you're feeding into the sales pitch more than the actual ability to "spy on your competitor". You don't need a tool to do it, you just have to use your own eyes and do a bit of research and you can usually come up with a lot of good dirt on your competitor.

What you're doing is just figuring out some keywords they MAY be using, so its not real spying per se. But hey, the more info the better off you are, so use all of these types of keyword spy tools if ya like, but remember you still have to do some manual grunt work as research if you truly want to figure out what your competitors do and why they convert so well.

thread hijack..! How you been? Glad to see you're alive and recovering from Vegas.. will buzz you later... ;)

If you are not seeing the keywords come up on the screen, you're doing it wrong. When they type in the keywords, you should be seeing them on your screen in real time as they type them.

The keywords should then auto-insert themselves into your campaigns and you will start to see the increase in your earnings column. That's how you know it's working. The next morning the happy truck will show up and deliver envelopes of cash to your doorstep.

Try http://ppcbully.com , I also use the adwords preview tool (or whatever its called, the one that shows you ads that come up in particular locations for your searches).
