First Adknowledge buys Hydra and switches affiliate payments to Wire only; which means a nice charge from your bank for receiving a wire. So f* them I stopped running their crap. Then they continually spam you with emails, and to unsubscribe, you have to send a frigging LETTER to a physical address.

Shit poor business practice all around.

Thanks jerk. I guess my bank, who wants to charge for incoming wires, checks to see my status as an internet marketer. Sure thing.

hahah too funny. But yeah, seems a little strange they wouldn't do ACH or check payments.

Not even sure how I got on their list, but their rep has been pestering the crap out of me for 6 months to set up an account.

Oh and Chase business accounts have free incoming domestic wires, not sure who you're banking with though.

Thanks for the Chase tip; but I'm in Canada so I guess that explains the wire fees. Still, every other outfit I've worked with offers more payment options.
Actually I think having to write an actual letter to get off their list irritated me even more. I'm too lazy for that so spam it is I guess!

If they are commercial emails that's not can-spam compliant. They have to include an unsub link + physical address.

I never been paid for traffic or leads, but I've used them for PPC. They fucking suck cops assholes when it comes to PPC. It's bullshit traffic (probably some of yous guys... dont let me catch u on the streets... haha jk). But yeah, they suck at ppc.

I ran a PPC and Mail campaign with them for travel. PPC was no bueno . Really low quality.

Their automated mail system works well, though for the travel vertical the category bids became extremely high. Obvious they went after companies being marketed (might even have used my links to do so i woudln't blame them). Bids became high, Affiliates pushed out of competing by travel cos coming in and setting huge bids. All these platforms that work remotely well have been a 1-2 month venture before the value slides.
