Ads for nothing

This actually seems like a great idea. It's like a temporary link exchange with tons of other sites... well, how many sites remains to be seen but, the concept is quite novel.

Me likey but I'd like to hear some reviews if anyone has tried them. Good find emp.

It's an ad exchange. This would be fine for established sites that have traffic to exchange, but if you're a new guy it's not going to help much. Their help section confirms this:

Sites that generate higher numbers of ad clicks will be displayed more on other sites

Could be a bit of a boost for traffic, but you'd either have to put more ads up, or sacrifice a paying ad.

I was actually thinking one might take this in a complementary fashion on arbi sites

PPC --> Arbi --> Google Adsense, other Adgrid Sites

Adgrid Sites --> Arbi

Pro:
One might get clicks on arbi sites by this network

Con:
"Leakage" from the arbi site is not only unwanted, but also necessary for this to work. I do not know if it will outweigh the pro.

Antoher Con:
Might be against TOS somewehre... hmmm....

LOL I saw this BS on Digg. I can't believe people give a rats butt about it. These things have been around since the internet started. They are completely worthless. It will just get gamed to hell with people earning free ads through fraud and most of the sites running the ads will be complete crap.

That is all.

I think I'll keep my contextual ads in place. Not really sure how many established sites would like to cut a piece of their revenue for a marginal boost in traffic. Guess we'll see.
