Hello all - bear with me please since I'm new here. Thanks.

I've got a number of sites up and running with adsense on them, none are particularly making much money, and many are waiting to be developed.

Anyway. I set up channels religiously for each new AS block I put up. However, the channel stats haven't been adding up for some weeks now (and I'm talking about after the event, not just when there's some reporting lag), and it appears that I've got a secret adsense block somewhere; it's either not been assigned a channel, or I've deleted the channel, and I don't know where the hell it's gone.

Is there any way I can find out where my extra cash is coming from?

Thanks in advance.

use a tabbed code editor (like notepad++) to open every file that you have
then search for google_ad_channel = ""; using Find in All Opened Documents

Thanks for the quick answer. Presumably that's not going to help if I previously created a channel, assigned it to the ad-block, then deleted the channel?

But, by extension, I could do what you suggested (without the "") with each file and manually check the channel that's in there.

Cheers.
