I'm partnering on a new project which will be targeting male HNWI's in a popular city. It's a high touch project with a $3k per day, $16k per week, $49k per month price tag.

Realisticly, each customer will need a weeks service, but some may choose for longer. Where do I begin advertising a service like this?

I do know that some of these people live in a specific foreign country, but are in the targeted city for a few months each year.

I'm thinking of getting affilates involved for a 10% cut (10% as this is a very high involvement project for the service provider). But I don't know if there is a better way to go? The clientele is bascally the kind of person who can drop $5k - $10k on a night out, and not care.

Any serious ideas?

sounds like high end hookers

pretty much the only thing I can think off, where you'd need to drop $3K a day for a week.

There's tons of [expensive] placements for HNI

Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, etc... if your service is legit, of course

The service is legit. But it's not for everyone. Mostly for younger guys who are (possibly) blowing their parents money. Would they read WSJ? Older guys can be part of it too though.

But the service is only available in one main (non US) city. I wonder if those publications allow to target non US cities..? Will look into that I guess.

We can target by income, education and profession. You might not get much traffic but at least it will be qualified

I guess that's what I need. My first time working with something of this nature, completely different approach to the regular stuff, which is why I'm wondering how to go about it...

BTW Ben, you're on 997 posts, I hope you drop something of amazing value here for your 1k post..!

Any other ideas?

Try Facebook.

Target the city you're after, narrow the demo down to males and the age group you're after, and test your ad image, copy and landing page against different interests that rich kids may have liked on Facebook.

Remember these variables: the ad image, the ad copy, and the interests that rich kids presumably would have liked on Facebook.

The ad copy should directly state the benefit while hinting at the fact that's its not something everyone can buy. This is so important because, if you assume that rich kids like "Rolex", well there's going to also be people who are unable to afford your service that have liked the Facebook Rolex page... so your ad copy absolutely needs to be written in such a way that it weeds these people out.

It can be done.

You should work with the higher end strip & night clubs to get your message out. If you want younger men that are blowing their parents money that is where you will find them...

Here's some meta-advice. It's not real advice, but may send you on the road to real advice.

Take a look at how high end financial institutions target those people in their advertising. For example, First Republic Bank in California has no interest in catering to the Joe Bob Smiths of the world. They want people with a net worth in the 7 figures and higher as customers.

Do they have some lower? Sure - but go look at their website. Under "Personal Lending" they do not list automobiles. They list "Aircraft and Marine". These are NOT peasants they are marketing to.

Find places like that bank and study their marketing.

Buy this book.

I haven't read it, but I've read a lot of his Marketing To The Affluent newsletter material. It's solid advice.

I'd guess the book is watered down but probably still has some good ideas that you can put to use.

The general aviation terminal at any airport is full of magazines that target the kind of people you are looking to reach.

I don't have the names in front of me, but I've spent hours reading them, and the advertisers you see there are of a different class entirely.

WSJ and the like are only good if you think these guys give a shit about their finances, and not all of them will, especially if it's daddy's money.

Get them while they are waiting for the G5 to gas up.

Because even when you fly private, you're still waiting around a terminal all the time.

Some interesting answers already. For those of you asking, the service is not high class hookers (athough I understand why you think that, considering the price).

It's a service for HNWI's. A small part of it is related to attracting women. But it's more of complete overhaul to optimise your success in life including women. It goes into such insane details on a 1:1 basis, and has systems and tech specifically created for this purpose. If you follow along, results are pretty much instant.

I've only seen one other company doing something like this, and they sell out all the time, on ultra high prices. The questions is, where the flying fck do they find their clients..!?!

This was part of my learning curve.

But when you go this route - reaching HNI via private jet messaging - make sure that your product is directly applicable to the HNI individual and not something that his assistant or wife would ultimately pull the trigger on. As in yes, Mr. HNI is the one who'll eventually foot the bill for your big ticket high end product, but won't be purchasing it himself. Getting this straight could save some serious time and money.

You mean like Neil Stauss also check out Scott Alexander I know he was in something similar and made quite a bit in just over a year.

Then again this all guess work based on the info you've given so hope it is useful.
