I have decided to give this a go again. Here is a site that I just created and I am looking for advice on what changes I should make, what is your opinion on my design?

I'm pretty new on this forum, and by long not an expert, but don't you think you have a bit too much google-ads.
+ I use Firefox with adblockplus, and googleads is the first thing it blocks. So you wouldn't be making much money on visitors like me.
Content seems ok, but you need to leave a blank line between tip 3 and tip 4, like you leave a blank between the other tips. (it's a detail)

There are some Adsense layouts in other threads which I think would convert better. Sorry can't be bothered to find them, try the arbitrage thread mentioned in the treasure trove one.
I'd also suggest promoting a related affiliate program - maybe one of the sites showing on your Adsense ads has one?? (Don't click your own ads though!)

Well.......Atleast your ad colors match your text....right? Without huge reformatting, I would rid the banner on the left. Each "training tip" I would space out.Then slap one 468 x 60 banner right between tip 3 and 4, one at the end. Make it the same width and height as each of your "training tips." That would make it blend in well.
I'm a big fan of search boxes, pop in an adsence for search box at the end or in the upper right hand corner too. A lot of people aren't huge fans of them but I get lucky sometimes.
Otherwise, save your content, find a wicked template and start over. Or keep the site and start over too.

So yeah, mostly ignore Transplant. If your going with adsense:
You want:
Upper left corner of content either : Medium Rectangle (300 x 250) -or-
Large Rectangle (336 x 280)
Top of page: 728x15_4 - Displays up to 4 links <-- Link Unit
Stick a 468x60 on the bottom or middle as Transplant said.
