I have setup up ppc campaigns for two different websites. In the past 2 weeks, with one of them I've spent about $60 in PPC and have made $60 in profit, and the other one I've barely broken even spent about $45 and have made $15.

I've been tweaking them constantly up until this week my bids were much higher the 1st campaign I mentioned I was bidding .20 per click and then .15 and today .10 a click, and I still got a sale today.

I was thinking if my bids are higher then I'll get more traffic, which I was, but then I started lowering my bids and getting more sales, I was probably spending them on broad keywords, not sure what's the reason.

Since I've been seeing consistent amount of sales with the 1st campaign, should I raise my daily budget or even remove it? I have probably a couple hundred dollars to invest. Does this sound like a campaign I should invest in? Today I only ran this campaign and turned the 2nd one off and my daily budget at $7 was depleted around 10pm central at .10 a click. Although I did get a sale.. If I run both campaigns on a $10 budget they both get depleted.

You using negative keywords? Split testing ads?

Lowering your bid does not necessarily mean more sales either.

I'm not using any negative keywords. I understand lowering bids doesn't mean more sales, it's actually supposed to be the opposite since you're higher up on listings, correct? but that's what seems to be the pattern I've seen, with this campaign. I think at first I started at .20 or per click and then gradually lowered.

I think the reason it's like that in my situation is since I have thousands of keywords and due to my low daily budget, it gets used up too quickly on broad terms. I'm not sure if this is really the reason, but that's what I noticed in the past 2 weeks of testing. At first I was actually increasing bids, but I didn't notice that helping due to my daily budget being depleted too quickly. This is a small niche so even the highest bids aren't that much.

I'm not sure what split testing is, but I have about 8 different ads running, and I have them optimized so the one with the highest CTR gets displayed most. Which is the ad that I created when I first started this campaign.
