I know I should post this in the newbie section but I'm it gets more views and possible helpful responses here. I'm not trying to look like a complete noob that doesn't do research, I might come off like it but I'm spending hours reading and applying.

A little background- My first campaign got slapped to shit (first big mistake I reckon), I didn't know about the QS thing really. So I made another campaign, boom, instant 10 dollar bids on long tail words. wtf? Time to actually read and learn...

I found out if a domain has been slapped, it's better to just fuck it and make a new one. So I did. And this time I followed the QS guide lines (I thought) very closely, using Googles own guide as well as searching for other tactics that 'should' help.

On paper (or when Adwords isn't in the picture) my relevancy seems to be very good. My ad, keywords, and landing page are all relevant to each other.

Let me go over everything.

Anyways, here's a few things I made sure I did with the landing page.

Keyword density (500+ words, 4.2% keyword density)
Keyword used throughout the whole thing (not just one paragraph)
Keyword in the meta tags (only the main keyword)
H1 tags in title on Keyword
H3 tags in the main article on the keyword
Keyword in <title>
Display URL has keyword (like keyword.html or keyword.domainname.com)
Multi-page (contactus, termsandconditions,private policy)
Sitemap (verified and shit)
Very similiar to affiliate page (I know this really doesn't matter)

Now a little on my keywords...

Using Adwords and the Keyword research tool provided at WA, I made a list that doesn't have any compeition but it's on a hot subject that gets talk everyday on national news.

I have 5 lists of apprx. 15 key phrases that have my main keyword in them. I origianlly started them off all as [exact] keywords but changed them all to broad. So it's something like

blah blah keyword
blah keyword
keyword blah blah
keyword blah
etc.

The same keyword that is on my landing page and ad(s)

On to ads-

The headline has the main keyword in it. Something like this-

blah blah keyword blah blah
No one wants to bone you?
Click her for free sex

Or something. The point is I have the main keyword in the ad, one of Googles 'specialist' even said my ad was very relevant to my keywords (some chat shit, not sure if they know anything but whatever)

My problem-

I still have high ass bids that I can't bring down. Even with all that (maybe not enough) I haven't been able to bring down the bids. The ones that don't start with my keyword (like blah blah keyword) are much cheaper then those that are keyword blah blah.

Things I plan to change-

Making more pages that are relevant to the keyword. (3-4 more pages with 500+ words with a keyword density of 2-5%)

Maybe my ad groupings aren't too great either, I can group them a little bitter I think.

I did pull the latest news article on the keyword and did some editing but it's far from original in Googles eyes. I might write up some quick original shit, see if that does anything.

Anyways, I signed up at YSM not too long ago. Maybe that will do better, who knows. Any help would be greatly fucking appreciated.

I would hook you guys up with some hot bitches but I don't want anyone to have a hissy fit.

Well here's one...

It's work safe.

I'll post the nudes up in STS later.

I am just a PPC newbie, much like yourself, so take my advice as you will.

It sounds like you are heading in the right direction by adding more pages to your LP. On the navigation bar of your LP, create sections such as "FAQs" and other info sections, each linking to an original article. Then, create a WP blog to go along with your LP and link to it in this navigation bar. Outsource a bunch of articles, then queue them up in your blog and set to publish every other day or so.

Sounds to me like what you're promoting could be the problem.

Google's interface (or even their reps in most cases) won't tell it to your face - it will just show as "please improve your LP quality/relevancy" b.s. When in fact, it's the type of offer they don't like. I found this out the hard way and I got Google to finally reveal this. Check out this post I wrote.

Yup, if everything fails, that means they don't like what you are promoting. Try a different niche and see if you are still getting slapped.

It could also be that the keywords/niche is too competitive, or those keywords have not performed well for Google (drawn clicks) in past campaigns. I have websites that follow the same style. The "cheap widgets" campaign is a dog, with lots of slapped keywords....but the "glossy blue widgets", while not as popular a search, hangs in there.

Interesting.

I believe my offer break one of the Adwords rules (it was an email submit using SEODaves high converting thread as a guide line)

"Data collection sites that offer free items, etc., in order to collect private information"

I recently had the same problem with a campaign, iy just kept getting slapped and slapped no matter how many times i changed the domain and added bits of content.

Here's what i did,

1. got a new domain (yet again)
2. uploaded the campaign to a different adwords account through MCC (i had a feeling the account was under some kind of manual review)
3. added a "blog" link to to the footer and created a bunch of Dupe content from an actual blog i have on the niche. (i used the most basic wordpress template and didn't change a thing. it's not for looks. just for content)
4. put text links from the sidebar of the blog back to the home page and about us page

My campaign has been back up for over a month with no problems. Now i'm back to netting $200-$300 a day with it like the good old days :)

I did the same, even took my campaign off search and kept it on the CN only and it still got bitch slapped. Shitty part about CN slaps is there is no message what-so-ever. Just no imps.

At least if facebook is going to fuck you over they'll at least give a reacharound with a halfway shitty message as to why.

Google will just snatch your traffic without saying a word.

i spoke too soon. my best KW just got slapped with $10.00....

curious to see what happens when new QS system comes out...

Is it possible you might be breaking one of adwords stupid rules without knowing it and after a manual review, got slapped or something?
