any clue as to why I can't get any impressions with my ad on adwords

i am running a "free new car quote" ad and I am using keywords like free car quote, new car quote, car, new car....etc. and shit like that yet google said that my keywords are not relevant to the search I do not have a bid limit on my cpc because i was sick of not getting clicks or impressions yet i am still not getting dick for shit!!!!

any suggestions

Update I actually got a click shiver me timbers i should have my fucking testing period done by the time this creative expires ! once i exhaust my coupon for adwords headed to microsoft adcenter hope that works better

What are you actually selling? It sounds to me like your ad might actually not be relevant enough to any search terms to use AdWords effectively.

Yes, it could be several different factors. Personally, I stay away from Google PPC at all costs. MSN as well. I am just not comfortable testing out ads where you set a limit on the CPC or daily budget only to have it go from zero to hundreds of dollars , significantly passing up your daily budget. When you ask why all you get is..." Well, because it takes time for it to trickle through our system and for the data to be shared after the budget it met, often times you will continue getting clicks or views for several hours after the campaign meets it's daily budget."

Sorry, but there is a reason I set a daily budget. It was not just a estimated number on my end, it should not be on yours.

There are other places where PPC & CPM are much better regulated like Facebook.

what other PPC companies does everyone use?

I tried facebook (poor conversion and users were clickhappy), 7search, and clicksor -- cheap clicks but got NO results

I have been trying adcenter and adwords I haven't had much luck I have ran 7 campaign's yet only had results on 2 both of which resulted in poor conversion rates or to high of a cpc

I have tried various things from unemployment benefits, to auto loan approvals, car quotes, starting home business.... the unemployment one got lots of impressions and so did the home business ad but the problem i had with the unemployment ad was that i had to pay .5 per click and it only paid .63 and my conversions was only 15%.

the home based business ad got fewer impressions lower conversion and i was paying $2 cpc and it only paid out $7 so i needed 30% conversion at least and i was only getting 5%

were you actually bidding on "car" as a keyword?
lol yes I was and I know that is stupid but at the same time i was paying just as much for each click I don't think I have the keyword thing down relevant and unique don't seem to match up. If I have to use words that are in my ad how am I supposed to get creative with the keywords I tried things related to cars but they said it wasn't relevant enough they have me so lost

I use Facebook. You must target your market correctly though. Use Quantcast to get your markets demographic and then laser target your ad to that group. Your conversions will go up but you must test, just like anywhere else. And also dont run your ad more than a week at a time because you dont want the same people seeing your ad over and over again. So you also have to switch them up.
