Been reading back and forth about the 'dangers' of pausing a campaign on Adwords. No one seems to know whats true and what isn't. Getting penalized for pausing a campaign sounds absolutely ridiculous (hosting products, site changes, vacation, funding issues, tracking problems, etc).

Anyway, I had to a pause a campaign after 24 hours because of tracking issues. I resumed today and haven't gotten a single impression in the past 2 hours after unpausing it. My min CPC was about 20% higher than what I was being charged for, for most keywords (out of 600). I was averaging a position of 4-6 too. Now I'm either not getting impressions or it's saying the min bid is 1.5-2x what my max CPC was. QS is solid at 7 and CTR was near 4%..

Should I just delete it and start over..does this have anything to do with pausing it...?

I'm no expert with Adwords... but it does say that sometimes there is a delay in the system reporting.... maybe wait until a full day has gone by then check the results again. And then email them and ask directly.

I think adwords is slower than usual with the reports today. I resumed a campaign this morning and still haven't seen any impressions register, though i did see my ads showing over 4 hours ago.

Not sure if it was a local thing or what, but the goog was down for me for an hour or so last night. At first I thought my connection was dropped, but every other site worked. Weird.

If it is a content campaign, then that is totally normal. It can take 5 hours sometimes for content campaigns to come back on after being paused.

I always enjoy the feeling of unpausing a campaign with yahoo. Things can be so easy...

none of my google stats have updated since last night. I think its just a fluke. Im still geting traffic, but stats are saying 0 impressions

Ya, I was pretty worried when I woke up and had only spent $8. I was sure it was another slap, but luckily I noticed in Prosper that the traffic was still coming in.
