Adwords Won't Give Me Impressions

So I have a fresh adwords account, totally legit and activated with money prepaid. The problem is I can't get a single god damn impression. I have tested it across multiple keywords, ads, and bids and am still unable to get a single impression. I have posted in the adwords help forum and contacted adwords support and have gotten a bunch of useless automatic reply bullshit. Is there some insanely obvious step I am missing to get ads live?
 


how long with no impressions? have you checked your ad status? you may be under review.
 
It's been around a week and a half. The adwords help forum told me I was probably under review and to contact adwords support to confirm. Adwords support just gives some bullshit auto responder and no help.
 
it can be finicky sometimes... one time i had an ! in the advert and it took around 5 days to get denied. sounds noobie, but make sure you pass all of the guidelines, its probably some stupid error...
