Not sure where to begin. I've used affiliate programs in the past like four years ago but got out of it. I don't remember exactly how they work or which networks are the best. To refresh my memory is this how they work? Please correct me if I'm wrong it has been awhile, I've been generating most of my cash from off-line clients, adsense and business advertisements.
- Sign up for network, find offer that fits your niche for conversions, ie (5% commission from shopping site, $2 per sign up), then install affiliate link or banner on your sites?
- Next what Affiliate network is the best? Seems like there's a ton of them out now.. Also why do someone people start making their own? Isn't their like a core that offers this without people trying to become middle mans of middle mans?
- Lastly, how does this compare to Amazon? If I'm pushing products on the website and doing reviews and what not, would another network be better? I'm always looking for more opportunities, and don't want to limit myself. If there's more ad generating possibles, believe I'm going to test as many out as a I can.
