Affiliate Marketing while Under 18

Most affiliate networks will not allow anyone under the age of 18 to join their network, mainly because of legal reasons. For example, all networks require their affiliates to adhere to their terms and conditions - but if you are under 18 years old, it likely would not be able to be upheld in court as a legally binding contract.
 
It's possible, but joining networks, getting credit cards etc is a pain in the ass.
 
I personally got started when I was 16 or so. I couldn't even open a real checking account, but was able to open a paypal account and get one of their debit cards.

So? Just have a parent/guardian confirm over the phone that it is OK for you to join the network (when they call you) and there are no problems.
 
I wish online affiliate marketing existed when I was 16. I would have been able to afford a car that didn't burn oil off the engine at every stoplight.

Back then all I heard at stoplights was, "Hey dude, I think your car's on fire. Harr harr!"
 
The only age restriction in affiliate marketing is ASE/ASW. Even then you can easily get in to the conferences, no problem and no questions asked. There were lots of other under 18 kids at this past ASE NYC.
