Okay,

I'm opening myself up for some obvious trolling, but I've picked up on this a lot the last few years and wanted to see if anyone else has, too.

Has anyone noticed there are so many more examples in tv, movies, and advertising of black men dating white women? I point it out to my wife when I see it and she's always saying, "I don't know what the big deal is." That may be true, but I also know that ad execs don't take shits without understanding the market consequences.

So is it just a happy coincidence or are they trying to subtly suggest black men should be dating white women?

I don't think it's racist to notice it, as there were more white people on TV in years gone by. There may be a "shock" or curiosity factor to it in some marketing campaigns. Now, the real question would be, is there a higher proportion of white women with black men or black women with white men? Doesn't really matter either way, society has become more multicultural and is generally better for it.
 
I think at the core, you want to be cuckolded. There are many more examples of black men dating black women, and white men dating white women than there are of black men dating white women but for some reason you're only noticing the interracial which, to me at least, screams that you want your wife to get gorilla fucked by a 340lb mandingo who's dick is thicker than your wrist.

You bringing it up to her is a way to subconsciously test the waters, her saying "It's not a big deal" = "OMG YES PLEASE".

Maybe a member of the Wickedfire Debate Team can help me out. When OP notices all these multicolored couples, is that an example of selection bias? He's so obsessed with it that it's all he sees, even when it's much less common than other types of relationships?

You are just focusing on it.

Yes there are black men with white women in pictures. Yes it's more rare than black women with white men.

But...

There are lot more white couples in advertisements than anything else.

Also the % of black women with white men is much less than black men with white women. So you see it more.

Try finding an Asian guy with a black woman advertisement and then come back to me.

All I do care about is black men with white men, which I prefer.

No insecurities. Just picked up on it one day a few years back and have noticed it continually. I just find it interesting. I don't care about mixed race relationships, but it always seems to be a black man with a white woman. Just curious if there's any kind of reasoning behind it. I doubt very much it's just a coincidence, since like I said, these ad guys have a reason for everything in their commercials.

Anyway, I knew trolling would be part of this thread. It's aight!

Do you have any statistic on jewish and black statistics? I love to see jewish woman with blacks or asian.
