To give you a quick recap...I started messing with affiliates about 7 months ago...in dating actually. I hit a particularly hot niche with low clicks (about .08 cents/click). First month to a month and a half I was making about $400 a day. Not bad for my first 6 weeks in Aff Marketing.
Well, Google, comes along and slaps me like a $2 whore and there went my campaign...That month I made about 4G's. That was huge since I only made 35G's in my day job...So I kept testing and testing and didn't find one profitable campaign for 5 -6 months. That's a shit load of time to spend testing without a glimpse of profitability. I bet most people quit by then!
With my Aff Monies just about depleted...I thought I would give it one last go...this time...I was profitable the first day...and second...and third with a janky LP i put together...keep in mind, I can't design worth crap!
Well, I wanted to hold off on posting anything cuz I didn't want to jinks myself. But I am happy to say that this month has been one of many PR's (personal records). I just hit the 8G mark this month and we still have about a week to go. I should hit 10K by May 31 (which is also the day of my wedding).
So, I have one question, am I still a noobie? When do you lose that title?
